Tonight was fun. Thanks to everyone who came out. And huge thanks to all the musicians who played with us in support of our brother Cantrell. Duff McKagen (musical coordinator/MVP of the evening), all the fellas in Loaded (wonderful musicians and great guys), Ann & Nancy Wilson (tremendous as always, a master class), Mark Lanegan (chills), and Billy Idol (dude seriously fucking brought it, as did Steve Stevens and the entire band). A great evening for a great cause. A pleasant momentary diversion from the ground hog days of studio life. But now we’ve seen our shadows so it’s back to ze bunker.
